Place: Nicholson Elementary School Cafeteria
Registration: Friday 1/27/06, 6:15 to 9:30pm
Race Date: Saturday January 28, 2006.
Race begins promptly at 8:00am
No speed kits will be allowed. Speed kits contain solid (one-piece) axles and/or slotted wheels. All entrants must use the contents of the kit given to them. This rule is intended to keep everyone on an even playing field. Any car that has been modified by using a speed kit will not be eligible for awards for fastest in their Den or the Pack.
No pre-made custom body kits will be allowed. Again, each scout must use the contents of the kit given to him.
All other rules pertaining to the weight, length, width and track clearance remain unchanged.
Awards
This year the Pack will be giving the following awards:
First Place awarded to the fastest car in each Den (Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos I, Webelos II).
Second Place awarded to the second fastest car in each Den (Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos I, Webelos II).
Third Place awarded to the third fastest car in each Den (Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos I, Webelos II).
Track Champion awarded to the fastest car in Pack 75.
Best in Show awarded to the scout whose car demonstrates the best workmanship.
Most Original Design awarded to the scout whose car demonstrates the most creativity.
Best Scout Theme awarded to the scout whose car best represents the cub scouts theme.
