2022 Respect Life Rose Procession Postponed

January 22, 2022 marks the 49th anniversary of the Roe v Wade Supreme Court decision.  Since that ruling, there have been more than 62 million legalized abortions that is one abortion for every man, woman and child that lives in the entire southeastern US.  The following procession is to help us keep the unborn in our prayers and remind all of us just how precious life is.
The procession includes one person born each year since abortion was made legal in 1973.  Each person represents all of the children aborted during their birth year.
The roses they carry are an offering of remembrance.  We use the color red to signify our love and devotion.
Our expectant mother represents babies that have been or will be aborted this year.  Her rose is white signifying purity and innocence.
Please keep in your prayers all of the unborn not protected since the Roe v Wade supreme court decision.

We will have our annual Pro-Life Rose Procession later in the year.  For each Mass, we need one person born each year from 1973 to 2021 as well as an expectant mother to participate in the procession.  The young children are a very moving part of the procession, but we also need adults born in 1973 or later.  The adult years and the expectant mother positions are always the most difficult to fill. If you and /or your family members would like to participate contact Karla, at karlacolman@aol.com.
