Transfiguration’s Advent Evening of Reflection is going to be presented a little differently this year. Instead of one night of four speakers, we are going to share with you four reflections over the four weeks of the Advent Season. We hope it will be an invitation to deeper prayer and more engaged season of prayer and preparation as we get ready for the Nativity of our Lord at Christmas. Look for New Videos each week Here and on our Youtube page, plus our various social media outlets. This Advent, we want to invite you to Live in the Spirit of Hope, Faith, Joy and Love! After each reflection, ask yourself to commit to acting on the moments that resonated with you. We pray the Holy Spirit fills you with the spirit of community in this time of distance; and, that these reflections offer you the Hope, Faith, Joy and Love that our Catholic Community knows through our Lord Jesus Christ.

“What I say to you, I say to all. Watch!” Mark 13:37
This first week of Advent, we are invited to remain attentive to coming of our Lord. Not only that, but to remain attentive to the Living Word that has been with us since that day He came to us as a baby in Bethlehem. Mark asks us to be watchful – to look to the horizon and wait, to be ready for something. That eager readiness is Hope. The watchfulness is the hope energizes us. Ignites our hearts, faith, and our Love. He came to us, dwelt among us, loved us, and loves us still. We live with the Hope of Jesus. Children and Adults alike, we can be encouraged by this Hope! Remain watchful, listen for Him, look for His light and live in the Spirit of Hope that is Christmas.
