Family Promise

YES! Family Promise families are still coming this summer!

We all should be so proud of the parish that we belong to; one that recognizes the needs of others, most especially during this pandemic.

WE NEED YOU! And we thank you for the love and compassion you share in helping those in need. Your safety is most important to us so please be patient as we finalize the details.

From June 21-July 19, we will have 2 families that Transfiguration will feed and shelter just as we did in previous years. However, due to COVID-19, this year will look considerably different. Our first priority is to keep our families and volunteers completely safe; therefore we are implementing guidelines recommended by the CDC. A few of the changes will be that the guests will be housed in our Family Life Center that will be closed to the parish. Volunteers will drop off dinners for the families but will not be able to stay for dinner. Overnight volunteers will be located on a separate floor with a bathroom designated just for volunteers. Masks and 6 feet social distancing will be required when guest interactions occur.

Questions? We thought you might have a few. Please contact Owen Sauer (osauer@comcast.net), Karen Humphreys (khumphreys2009@gmail.com), or Renee Morrison (rmorrison@familypromisecobbcounty.org) for any additional information or clarification.
