Ever year our St. Vincent de Paul Conference identifies families that we have served who would appreciate having extra food to cook a Thanksgiving and Christmas meal at home. Last year, with your help, we provided food for holiday meals to over 50 families. These families live on very tight budgets and there simply isn’t enough money to buy the foods that we traditionally enjoy during the holidays.
How can you help? You can sponsor a family and provide groceries for Thanksgiving, Christmas or both. You will be given the family size and then you purchase items like a turkey, stuffing, dessert, etc. and drop it off at Bishop Hall. You must be able to drop off Thanksgiving dinners on Saturday, November 21st and Christmas dinners on Saturday, December 19th between 9 and 10:30 a.m.
We also welcome donations of Kroger and Publix gift cards to have on hand for last minute additions to our list and for small households.
This is a perfect opportunity for ministries, small faith sharing groups or some friends to work together to help a family enjoy a holiday meal.

On behalf of those we serve, thank you for all that you do to show God’s love to our neighbors.
