Saturday, March 22
Hands On Transfiguration
9:00 am – Noon
9:00 am – Gather at Youth Room for Hospitality, Prayer and work site instructions
Off Site:
- Join a team to go to a parishioner’s house to complete a work order: could be landscaping, light home repairs. Recommended for families or individuals. No experience necessary. Each work site will have a team leader.
On-Site:
- Help with Prayer Blanket Ministry
- Making rosaries
- Mercy Mat Ministry
- Decpratomg lunch bags, cards and placemats for Table on Delk
- Onsite projects at the Church
- Make and set up lunch for work group return
11:45 am – Return to Youth Room, lunch, debriefing
Sunday, March 23
Mercy Bags
A Mercy bags is either a snack or personal care/hygiene bags given to someone in need. We are hoping to collect and assemble personal care/hygiene items to make 700 Mercy bags. Please bring your items to the basket in the Church foyer or to Our Great Journey sessions. Assembly will be the week of March 23. Keep a bag in your car, you never know when you can share some love!
St. Vincent de Paul Perishable Food Collection
Easter Baskets for the Elderly & Homebound
Take a paper egg or two after Masses the weekend of March 22/23 and purchase the items. Please return them to the giant white Easter Basket in the Church foyer before April 6.
Our teens will assemble the gift bags and our Ministers of Caring will deliver them with our Easter blessings.
