The Knights of Columbus once again will participate in the “Wreaths Across America” program!  Back in 1992, the Worchester Wreath Company in Maine placed Christmas wreaths on the tombstones of fallen soldiers in Arlington Cemetery in Washington DC.  Since then, Knights and other volunteers now provide beautiful wreaths on over 2.7 million headstones of deceased military veterans at over 3,700 locations.  On Saturday, December 13th, our Knights will help place wreaths at the 18,000 tombstones at our own Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.  If you would like to help, write a check to “Knights of Columbus – Assembly 2771” for whatever amount you can give (it costs $17 per Wreath), so our Knights can continue this wonderful and moving tribute to our fallen military.  Mail it to the church at 1815 Blackwell Road, Marietta, GA 30066, or drop it in the collection backet during any Mass.  For additional info, go to the WAA website at www.Wreathsacrossamerica.org, or contact Grand Knight Mike Meehan at Cadmast54@gmail.com.
