My husband Charlie and I sold our home in Winder December of last year. Our goal was to get closer to our two grandchildren in Woodstock. We moved on a leap of Faith not having a house to move into for 3 months. That leap brought us back to Transfiguration where we last attended in 1996 when Monsignor Pat Bishop was Pastor.
Charlie and I retired in January 2021 and have enjoyed retirement, but it felt like something was missing. Having worked for the Archdiocese for twelve years I still felt the need to contribute to our parish community.
We are very blessed to have 3 daughters, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
