Mission:
To be an inclusive community of women who strive to form a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and each other through prayer, fellowship, and small group Christian faith studies.
Vision:
Our vision is that Women In Faith will be recognized within our Transfiguration Parish as a community of women who have dedicated themselves to enriching their faith, that we might reflect the love of Jesus Christ to all.

Friday Mornings: 9:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- We are so excited to be together once again as we start off this new year with a Meet and Greet on August 21 at 9:45 a.m. in the Social Hall.
- On August 28 at 9:45 a.m. we will meet in the Social Hall for a Morning of Reflection.
- On September 4 at 9:45 a.m. we will join our small group book studies following the breakfast, snacks and announcements.
We will again offer a Monday evening WIF session, 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., Room 104, facilitated by Barbara Gorman. The evening book study title will be posted soon.
(We follow Cobb County Schools schedule for breaks).
Nursery Service Information
Please note that nursery services are staffed by reservations only. If you are a WIF Mom and would like to use the nursery, please contact us via email at wif@transfiguration.com or reach out to one of our team members. We will coordinate with Cathi Carpenter to arrange nursery staffing for your child. The nursery is intended for children aged 6 months to 5 years old, as specified by Cathi Carpenter.
To ensure your child’s needs are accommodated, please make your nursery request in advance.
ANY OTHER SMALL FAITH SHARING GROUP who would like to join the Women in Faith in sharing our journeys with each other are welcome to contact WIF Leadership to add your group or study to this list.
We welcome all women! WIF is supported by the Adult Faith Formation Office and can help with resources, books, studies or any other assistance your group may need.
