Be assured that your Transfiguration community joins you in prayer for the repose of the soul of your loved one.
We celebrate parish funerals at 11 a.m. on the following days pending availability of the presider, the church or chapel:
Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, or Saturdays.
Funerals are live-streamed upon request.
Eulogies are presented before the start of a Funeral Mass and are limited to three minutes. These must be submitted for approval no later than 24 hours before the funeral.
It is encouraged that eulogies or “Words of Remembrance” be spoken outside of the funeral Mass to preserve the dignity of the Funeral Rite. These are more suitable at the viewing/wake service, reception, or place of interment.
Funeral times are not published in our parish bulletin. Only families of the deceased who are members of Transfiguration are listed in our printed parish bulletin.
Funeral Receptions are offered by the Parish to families pending availability of the Parish Social Hall or Adult Lounge. The church offers a limited selection of refreshments. Catering for funerals is not permitted.
