Transfiguration Catholic Church has launched the WSCCB Initiative Walking With Moms in Need (WWMIN). As Pope Francis reminds us, our parishes need to be islands of mercy amidst a sea of indifference, supporting pregnant mothers and parenting moms in our communities.  There are many ways you can help: volunteer, baby showers, meal trains, running errands, donations, and of course most importantly:  prayer.  You can also become a primary contact (organizer) for Mothers in Need.  If you are interested in joining or want more information please contact Cathy Zingler at wwmin@transfiguration.com

Thank you so much for your support and dedication.  “With great openness and courage, we need to question how widespread is the culture of life today among individual Christians, families, groups, or communities in our Dioceses.  With equal clarity and determination, we must identify the steps we are called to take in order to serve life in all its truth”.   Pope St. John Paul II

Volunteers are needed in several areas, including computer skills, staffing the help request email, helping with baby showers, setting up a meal train or making a meal, running errands, and being the parish’s primary point of contact for a given family. If you are interested in joining this ministry or desire more information, please contact Cathy Zingler at wwmin@transfiguration.com
