It Takes Two!
Well, Jesus alone could feed a crowd of five thousand with a few crumbs, just by looking up to heaven and saying a blessing. Here however, it always takes two Vincentians (we call them Home Visitors) to meet with each and every Neighbor in need to determine an appropriate level of assistance. The Home Visit is at the center of the St. Vincent de Paul ministry; all other services flow from there.
If you have an interest in serving our Neighbors, consider volunteering with SVDP as a Home Visitor. You’ll be trained, always paired with an experienced partner, and we can accommodate your schedule. The compensation? It’s beyond what you can imagine when you see the face of Christ in our Neighbors in need.
Give it a try– come to the next St. VIncent dePaul fellowship meeting on Monday, August 24 at 7 p.m. in the Adult Lounge to get started.
Your generosity can make a difference in the lives of those in need. May God bless your heart as you consider donating the following items to our pantry:

Dear Members of the Congregation,
We kindly ask that everyone who donates items to the cart in the narthex please place the items inside the cart. This will help us keep the area organized and free from clutter. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!
- Spaghetti sauce
- Hot chocolate mix
- Cereal
- Cooking oil (small botte)
- Canned corn, peas, black beans
- Pancake mix
- Syrup
- Kids’ toothbrushes
The food pantry is a volunteer organization and as such usually only checks your donations every other day or so. Please do not leave items requiring refrigeration or freezing in the narthex or upstairs in the collection cart outside our door.
“Please donate just the items that are requested in our list of needs. We appreciate your generosity but our lack of storage space makes it necessary to ask you to limit donations to the requested items. Thank you!!”
Your contributions help us serve our community with compassion and care. Thank you for your kindness and support!
