To celebrate our parish’s 50th Anniversary, we are challenging each person in our parish family to complete 50 Works of Mercy by September 2027.
The corporal and spiritual works of mercy are charitable actions that extend God’s compassion and mercy to those in need.
Visit the 50th Anniversary page for a listing of the works of mercy and ideas to live them!
Throughout the year, we’ll have specific challenges too! To begin, look for a way you can serve during Transfiguration Serves, October 18-24, transfiguration.com/news/transfiguration-serves/
If you would like, please upload your pictures and testimonies to transfiguration.com/50th-anniversary-celebration/ to share and inspire others.
Feel free to challenge any ministries or other parishioners to complete a work of mercy challenge.
Any questions, contact Mary or Bill, 50@transfiguration.com
