Open My Eyes, Lord
And the next line of our beloved hymn goes, “Help me to see your face…”
St. Vincent de Paul taught us to see Christ in the faces of the poor, and so we strive to recognize “Son of the living God” when we encounter our Neighbors in need. As Vincentians we believe that God reveals himself to us when we open our eyes, ears, hands… and hearts to the needy in our midst.
Want to get started with SVDP? Join us this Monday, August 24 at the next St. Vincent de Paul fellowship meeting. We’ll be looking for you at 7 p.m. in the Adult Lounge.
Can you help restock the pantry shelves? Drop off any of the following in the designated bins in the narthex:
- Canned tomatoes
- Fruit juice (64 oz desired)
- Boxed potatoes (Very low supply)
- Cocoa mix (completely out)
- Canned tuna
- Canned chicken
- Canned fruit (peaches, pears, fruit cocktail, all varieties)
- Pancake mix and syrup
- Adult tootbrushes
- Toilet paper

The food pantry is a volunteer organization and as such usually only checks your donations every other day or so. Please do not leave items requiring refrigeration or freezing in the narthex or upstairs in the collection cart outside our door.
Please donate only the items requested above. While we appreciate your generosity, our lack of storage space makes it difficult to store more than the needed items. Thank you!
