Scholarships Available to High School Seniors

There are 2 scholarships available for Transfiguration Seniors to apply for.

Scholarship Deadlines:

Men’s Club Deadline is April 26, 2024 – Click HERE for the application.

Stephanie Randall deadline is April 14, 2024 – Click HERE for the application.

Senior Night – May 5th from 6:00 – 8:00pm

Senior Night – during the Sunday Evening ChrisTeen Family Faith Session at the Family Life Center. All seniors are welcome to celebrate on May 5th regardless of the session that your teen attends. This gives us a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the seniors together!

Baccalaureate Mass – May 19th during the 5:00pm Mass

Baccalaureate Mass – . This event is for all 12th grade students registered in the Parish. Transfiguration seniors will check in, dressed in cap and gown, in the Church by 4:30 p.m. to prepare for the Baccalaureate Mass at 5:00 PM . There will be a reception after Mass in the Social Hall, we will have refreshments and desserts.

Senior Slideshow

Please complete the google form HERE and send both a senior picture (or nice picture) and a baby picture of your teen. Senior pictures will be on display in the Social Hall during the Baccalaureate Mass reception. Email your pictures to Theresa at tbrader@transfiguration.com.

Forms must be complete and photos received no later than – This is a firm date to allow for creation of the programs and putting together the slide show.

What we need from you: 

  • Upload to the form or email to Theresa both a senior picture (or a nice picture) and a baby picture of your teen.
  • Fill out your senior’s information on the form.  We will publish your senior’s full name and his/her plans for the future in the video. 
  • If you have any pictures of your teen involved in ChrisTeen events, retreats or missions trips, please email them to Theresa.

About Senior Spirituality

Are you 50 or older? Join our “motley” group of seniors for fellowship and study of our Catholic faith. We open our meetings with a discussion on Sunday’s reflection and homily. Then we delve into the “meat and potatoes” of our study. We never know what side topics on our Catholic faith and teachings will surface. We guarantee you that our discussion is lively, varied and interesting.

Spring Study:

Senior Spirituality (for Sojourners 50 and up):  Weekly discussion of The Books of Hosea (continued) and Micah , (Continuing from the fall, but welcoming new faces). Senior Spirituality meets weekly, primarily to reflect on the Sunday Readings, but also to participate in the study of a book or special topic. On Tuesday, April 5, the Senior Spirituality group will begin a study of the Old Testament Book of Micah. Adults, 50 and older, are invited to join the group.
