To become Catholic, join us for the Order of Christian Initiation (OCI) process. This is the rite of the Church by which non-Catholics become Catholic. The rite begins with an inquiry period and lasts until an individual is prepared and chooses to receive the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation).
Did you start sacraments as a child? Transfiguration offers Adult Confirmation classes each year to adults who have been Baptized and have celebrated First Holy Eucharist in the Catholic Church. 6 sessions, with Confirmation celebrated on Pentecost. Adult Confirmation
Transfiguration offers Confirmation preparation classes each year for adults who have celebrated the Sacraments of Baptism and First Holy Eucharist in the Catholic Church and who would like to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation. Information for Children (OCI-C) & Teens (OCI-Teens)
For students in grades 3-12 who have not been baptized OR who have been baptized but have not received formal faith formation.
OCI-C & Teens is about learning & experiencing the Catholic faith and preparing to receive Baptism, Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation. For children, 8 years old – Grade 8, this is a two-year process.
