The mission of the Transfiguration Mercy Mats Ministry is to make mats for people without a home.
Currently, we need crocheters to continue our ministry. Whether you are a crocheter or not, experience is not required, only the desire to help. We have many volunteers that will teach and mentor you until you feel comfortable. A complete mat can be made by using just two (2) basic stitches.
We have weekly meetings in the Family Life Center on Fridays from 12 noon to 1:30pm. However, most of the work is done at home on your own time. Consider joining us in this service to the community.
