St. Pier Giorgio Frassati & St. Carlo Acutis

The Church is blessed with two inspiring modern saints: St. Pier Giorgio Frassati and St. Carlo Acutis.

St. Pier Giorgio Frassati (1901–1925), known as the “Man of the Beatitudes,” was a young Italian who lived his faith with joy and courage. He dedicated his short life to serving the poor, fighting for justice, and encouraging his friends to grow in holiness. His adventurous spirit and deep love for the Eucharist make him a powerful example for young people.

St. Carlo Acutis (1991–2006), often called the “Millennial Saint,” used his computer skills to spread devotion to the Eucharist. He created a website cataloging Eucharistic miracles around the world and showed that holiness is possible in everyday life, even as a teenager in the digital age. His motto was: “The Eucharist is my highway to heaven.”

Both of these saints remind us that holiness is not distant; it is possible here and now.

La Iglesia está bendecida con dos inspiradores santos modernos: San Pier Giorgio Frassati y San Carlo Acutis.

San Pier Giorgio Frassati (1901–1925), conocido como el “Hombre de las Bienaventuranzas,” fue un joven italiano que vivió su fe con alegría y valentía. Dedicó su corta vida a servir a los pobres, luchar por la justicia y animar a sus amigos a crecer en santidad. Su espíritu aventurero y su profundo amor por la Eucaristía lo convierten en un ejemplo poderoso para los jóvenes.

San Carlo Acutis (1991–2006), llamado con frecuencia el “Santo Millennial,” utilizó sus habilidades en la computadora para difundir la devoción a la Eucaristía. Creó un sitio web que recopila milagros eucarísticos de todo el mundo y demostró que la santidad es posible en la vida cotidiana, incluso siendo adolescente en la era digital. Su lema era: “La Eucaristía es mi autopista al cielo.”

Ambos santos nos recuerdan que la santidad no es algo lejano; es posible aquí y ahora.
