Fr. Eric was born and raised in Indiana. He is the youngest of 6 children with family all over the country. He started at Bradley University, and attended Purdue University. It was out of the Newman Center there that he was encouraged to consider the priesthood. From there, he attended seminary with Fr. Fernando and Fr. Bill! His first assignment was at Transfiguration 21 years ago. In 2005, Fr. Eric was assigned to his first pastorate at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Decatur. Fr. Eric was assigned to Prince of Peace where he has served as pastor until his assignment to Transfiguration begins July 1. He has a dog named Mocha and enjoys reading. He is looking forward to getting to know the parish again after being assigned here early in his priesthood. His priestly motto is "Feed my Sheep" that has guided him.
