Transfiguration complies with archdiocesan safe environment policies and procedures in accordance with the U.S. Bishop’s Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People. Safe Environment programs are in place to assist in preventing harm to minors and vulnerable adults.
Youth

Adults
As part of the Safe Environment Screening, all adults who work with our children or vulnerable adults must complete the Virtus: Protecting God’s Children Program. Participants must register in advance, www.virtus.org. You may attend the training at Transfiguration or another Catholic Church.
Forms
All volunteers of the Archdiocese of Atlanta should complete the Safe Environment Forms. These forms include some basic information and references. Any volunteer who has regular contact with children or vulnerable individuals must complete the Safe Environment forms.
Please notify the Faith Formation Office, if you are volunteering with the Faith Formation Programs, or the Parish Office if you are volunteering with another group comprised of children or vulnerable adults. You will be invited by Sterling to complete the background check forms electronically.
