Quilters of Transfiguration
Are you ready to find fellowship and service within the parish and at the same time learn a new skill? Well, the Quilters may be just the ministry for you. We meet twice a month, once on a Wednesday and once on a Saturday morning in the Family Life Center (FLC) from 9:30-1:00. As a group, we have quilters who are skilled, and we have others who are literally taking their first sewing machine out of the box at the meeting. We work on a variety of items, including traditional, contemporary, and art quilts. The quilts sizes range from wall hangings to lap quilts. The only limit is your imagination. We have a mix of personal quilting projects, lessons, short technique demonstrations, and challenges. We also have outreach projects for those in need. The Quilters (QTs) bring their unique talents and personalities to our meetings, and there is always something new to anticipate. Give us a try—you won’t be disappointed! You can contact Bernie Clement (cell phone: 770-845-6987). You can also contact us through the Transfiguration app.
Dues for incidental supplies: $20.00.
Below is the project for the 2019-2020 year. Each quilter will need to purchase this pattern (approximately $20.00) ahead of time.
