In an effort for our parish to reconnect our homebound parishioners and caregivers, the Homebound Friends Ministry has been established to reach out on a regular basis with emails, cards, and phone calls.  As the pandemic conditions improve, we are looking at offering social visits and monthly luncheons at the parish.  Our goal is to help our homebound parishioners know they are loved and connected with our community of faith.

Our Ministry Plans are to:

Homebound Friends Man on a Wheelchair talking on his phone with volunteer.

Befriend the homebound through phone calls and regular greeting cards.

Homebound Friends Man Receiving Groceries from Volunteer.

Help out doing grocery shopping if needed.

Homebound Friends Man Playing a Board Game.

When conditions improve for better interaction, we hope to help caretakers by sitting with the homebound parishioner to play board games, talk, pray, or read.

Homebound Friends Featured Luncheons.

Future luncheons will also be offered.
